Do:

• Always use coasters/table cloth/mats to keep hot things on the furniture.
• If you spill anything on the furniture, clean it immediately by blotting with a soft and dry cloth or sponge.
• For the furniture to last long it should be dusted and cleaned once in every few days.
• To dust, moisten a cotton cloth mild non-alkaline soap and water.
• Dry cloth is best avoided as it can harm the furniture finish with hairline scratches. Absorb all the water in the edges and grooves after cleaning, as it can accelerate deterioration of the wood and swelling of the furniture.
• Hire professionals to polish natural wooden and natural veneered furniture, once every year.

Don't:

• Substances like nail polish removers, alcohol and solvents are best kept away from furniture.
• Do not slide object across the surface. Lift and place objects.
• Avoid sharp objects coming in contact with the furniture's surface.
• Keep away from water and corrosive substances as they may be damaging.
• Avoid placing furniture in excessive hot or damp conditions. Hot conditions like direct sunlight, near fireplaces, heaters and radiators. Damp conditions like basement, garage and areas of seepage and leakage.
• Do not polish laminated and membrane pressed surfaces.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents like nitro based thinners, acetone, nail varnish removers.
• Avoid contact of the mop with the table legs while mopping the floor as regular contact may result in fading of the finish and color.
